The Hairfarmers.....thrown together by fate and an Austrian Heli-Ski guide's
keen intuition, the two musical "forces of nature" that make up The
Hairfarmers, "Guitar" Doug Craig and "Grateful" Greg Reamsbottom, first hit
the stage at a private outdoor party north of Whistler in the summer of '98.
They didn't know it then, (or did they?) that it would be the ski season of
99-2000 back in Whistler that would find them both on stage again, and that
the hairy seed that was planted back in '98 would quickly begin to grow into
what countless bar rooms full of high octane, big mountain après skiers and
music fans alike consider "the quintessential ski town band"...The Hairfarmers!
